Dear
SCC Members and Friends,
We
are writing you today with very good
news.
We believe the Scarsdale Village Board of Trustees will decide within the next
two months whether or not to support the current proposal to build the Community
Center at the Outdoor Pool site.

A
new approach for the SCC began with an innovative and popular Concept Design by
Ikon.5 Architects for an underground pool and community center complex
adjacent to the outdoor pool site in October, 2009.
Now
Ikon.5 Architects have done a thorough site and infrastructure analysis
providing detailed plans with precise cost estimates.
The
SCC has updated financial projections using the costs from the architectural
study and reviewed revenue projections based on current market
trends.
On
October 4th,
2010 the SCC presented the new material to the Trustees in a public session.
The Mayor has requested a full public hearing in order to hear all comments
from the public before the Trustees conclude their
deliberations.

Now,
we need to show that the public still supports the Community Center.
We

on December 6th.
The Trustees need to see
your support. They need to hear
your support. If you cannot make it that day, we will instruct you how to write
an email
to the Trustees. Better yet, come to the rally and send an
email.
